Tales of Arise

Hero of the Summit Trophy in Beyond the Dawn

By
Ben Chard

Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn comes with 11 new Trophies/Achievements to earn, and while many of them are fairly obvious on how you can obtain them (such as completing all quests), there are a few that may cause you to pause a little. The Hero of the Summit Trophy is one that can be obvious to miss, especially as it comes late in the adventure. Read on to learn where and how you can obtain this tricky Trophy.

You’ll need to drop from a high place to get the Hero of the Summit Trophy in Beyond the Dawn.

How to Get the Hero of the Summit Trophy

As you press through the main story of Beyond the Dawn, you’ll eventually find yourself on the final quest, aptly named, Beyond the Dawn. This will see you venture to the Keystone, the game’s final dungeon. The theme of this dungeon is palaces based on the six elements, and they’ll all have features that you expect such as the Whirlwind Palace having, well, whirlwinds, in the environment.

This is important to note, as you’ll need to make your way to Whirlpool Palace. Once you reach the section of the dungeon that focuses on the themed palaces, the Whirlpool Palace can be found at the Youthful Floor: Balcony area, just after the Flame Palace. Here you’ll have two options, Whirlwind Palace can be found via the northwest door, and Whirlpool Palace, the one you’re looking for, is located via the northeast door.

(1 of 4) The entrance to the Whirlpool Palace is on the Youthful Floor

As you enter the palace, you’ll find yourself on Level 2, with no way to descend further, so the only way is up. As you reach Level 4, you’ll find a way over to the central structure and there will be a ladder you can climb. Do so, and you’ll reach the Top Level and the device to deactivate another part of the barrier on the door in the lobby.

Now, don’t be hasty to fast travel away from here, as you may be thinking you’ll need to work your way back down. Instead, you’ll find the railing in the center broken. You know what to do here, right? Take the plunge all the way to the bottom and you’ll obtain the Hero of the Summit Trophy. On top of this, you’ll find treasure in the pool of water that you land in containing Gald and to the north, one of Nazamil’s Portraits (Shionne’s) needed for the Always on Her Mind Trophy.
