Pokémon Legends: Z-A features 230 Pokémon and some of them aren’t caught out in the open world, but instead are obtained via finding their fossils. Read on to find out where to find all of the fossils in Lumiose City.
The three fossils can be purchased from the Stone Emporium.

Where to Find All Fossils¶
You won’t be able to unlock the three fossil based Pokemon (found above) until you’ve unlocked/completed the Side Mission 027: 
Restored from a Fossil which becomes available during the Main Mission 10: 
The Secrets of Mega Evolution. The Fossils can be purchased from the Stone Emporium which is located to the south of the Vernal Pokémon Center (Map Marker)
Head back to the Pokémon Research Lab and hand over the fossils to Reg and he’ll convert the Fossil into their Pokemon Form which are the following: Jaw Fossil > Tyrunt, Sail Fossil > Amaura and Old Amber > Aerodactyl. These will all start at level 20 so you may need to use some Exp Candy on them before they are ready to join the team.
