Gamer Guides is the native iPhone and iPad app for GamerGuides.com: hundreds of game guides, interactive maps, item databases and trophy guides, all written by our own editorial team.

Interactive maps

Fully interactive maps for hundreds of games, with thousands of hand placed markers on each.

Pan, zoom, rotate and tilt into 3D, with multiple floors and regions on games that have them.
Filter by category to show only what you are hunting for, or search a map by name.
Check collectibles off as you find them, and pick up where you left off on any device.
Routes trace an efficient path through a map, step by step.
Zones, labels and route arrows mark out areas, landmarks and directions.
Add your own markers for anything we have missed, with a screenshot and description, reviewed by our team before they go live for everyone.
Leave private notes pinned anywhere on a map, just for you.

Guides and walkthroughs

Hundreds of complete walkthroughs, browsable and searchable by title, release date, publisher or most recently updated.
Jump straight to any page from the contents drawer, with search inside a guide.
Bookmark any page and pick up where you left off.

Read your way

Four appearance modes: Default, Dark, Light and Sepia.
Adjustable text size and a choice of body typefaces, including two designed for easier reading.
Swipe or tap between pages, with a page turn animation you can switch off.

Browse full item databases for supported games, with stats, locations, categories and artwork, and jump straight from a map marker to the item it holds.

Full trophy and achievement guides with roadmaps and difficulty ratings.

MEMBERSHIP, EXPLAINED PROPERLY
Membership and Billing now tells you what you are actually paying for: the plan you are on, the date you subscribed, when it renews next, and where to manage or cancel it. If there is a tier above yours we mention that one, instead of pitching Premium to somebody who already has it.

MY BOOKMARKS
An empty Bookmarks page is now a page. It explains what bookmarks are for and how to add one, rather than showing you a blank screen and leaving you to guess.

ROUTES
Links in a route description are tappable. A video guide linked from a route now opens in one tap, without throwing you out of the app.

SEARCH
The search field says what it actually searches, achievements included. Look up a trophy by its name or by what it asks you to do, and go straight to its guide.

UNDER THE HOOD
The app now identifies itself properly to our servers. That sounds like nothing, but it is what stops people who share a network, a carrier or a region from being counted as one another, which was causing sign-in and rate limit problems for some of you.
