Tacitus’ notes and sketches relating to the Tower of Penance, home to a beacon and a place where those imprisoned by the Hallowed Sentinels are made to suffer terribly for their perceived sins. The drawings suggest a descent deep into the ominous structure, followed by an ascent to its peak.
