Quest Items - Lords of the Fallen (2023) Database

A rusted and bloodstained saw, designed for use in certain practices dedicated to Adyr.

The Adyr-Worshipper’s Saw is one of the quest items needed to progress Damarose’s quest when you’re on the Umbral/Inferno ending routes (by not cleansing the beacons). When you meet with Damarose at Fitzroy’s Gorge, just beyond the Vestige of Betrayed Eliard inside a cave, she will ask you for this item. Hand this over to progress the quest to the next step.

Cistern: Found on the glowing altar protected by a Raw Mangler

A tome seemingly chronicling Andreas of Ebb’s ancestry back across several centuries. Andreas had always known he was destined for greatness, something far beyond the already privileged position into which he had been born.

As you progress through the game, Andreas of Ebb will relocate to one of the cells in Skyrest, and will mention that he’s lost this book. Once you track it down, hand it over and you’ll progress his Quest. This will allow you to summon him during the battle against the Lightreaper in Upper Calrath.

Upper Calrath: Obtained after defeating Andreas of Ebb (Boss)

“Dearest Friend, I venture into the frigid fief of Kinrangr, hoping you will find the courage to follow in my footsteps… Your comrade amidst adversity, Sir Andreas of Ebb.”

As you progress Andreas of Ebb’s quest, he will move around. At one point, he will leave this letter in his place, and upon reading it, you’ll learn the location he is heading to (Fief of the Chill Curse). There is no other use for this item and it’s not required to continue the quest (you can find Andreas without it).

Skyrest Bridge: Progress through Andreas of Ebb’s quest and it can eventually be picked up in Andreas’s location.

We’ve yet to find a use for this item, beyond the Achievement/Trophy you obtain for completing Stomund’s Quest, the Faithful Achievement/Trophy.

When you reach the Empyrean, near the end of the game, you’ll find Stomund and so long as you’ve been progressing his Quest and handed over the Damaged Standard and the Tattered Banner earlier in the Quest, he’ll hand over the completed Banner of our Immaculate Lady.

A Hallowed Sentinel aspergillum filled with blood.

As part of Exacter Dunmire’s NPC quest, he’ll request that you bring him items back from your travels. The Bloody Aspergillum is the first of the items he requests, and once you locate it and hand it over to discover the next item you’ll need, the Book of Sin.

Pilgrim’s Perch: In the area where you fight Scourged Sister Delyth, head to the altar at the back to pick up the Bloody Aspergillum. You can pick this up before the boss battle if you enter from the back of the area.

This is an item required to progress Exacter Dunmire’s NPC Quest. You’ll find him in Skybridge and he’ll ask that you bring back several items during your travels, this is the second such item (the first being the Bloody Aspergillum). Hand this over to Dunmire and you’ll be requested for the next item, Vanguard Barros’ Rosary.

Pilgrim’s Perch: When you reach the Umbral Tumor that blocks your way in Pilgrim’s Perch, enter Umbral and head down the bone slope that appears. Defeat the two Remnants there and soulflay the umbral belly to find the Book of Sin.

A strange, ancient bowl of Nohuta origin.

The Bowl of Revelations is an important item needed to unlock the ability to purchase Boss equipment from Molhu. Molhu is located in the Umbral realm within the Skyrest hub. To purchase the equipment, you will first need a Remembrance that is obtained from defeating specific bosses, and then the required Umbral Scouring as the currency.

Pilgrim’s Perch: Take the ladder down that leads to a fight with a Womb of Despair and various Remnants. Circle the stone pillar to the right to find the Lucky Paw. You may also notice another item on the piece of cloth, which if hit with a throwable object, will drop onto the ground, allowing you to obtain another Lucky Paw. Soulflay an Umbral Belly then it will drop the Bowl of Revelations along with two Umbral Scourings.

You have abandoned the Radiant path of the Dark Crusaders.

A pendant given as a token of love.

This item is an important part of Byron’s NPC quest, and should you not acquire it before you take the elevator up in the Cistern as if you don’t, it will result in Winterberry dying and voids the quest in the process. Once you retrieve the item from Winterberry’s wares instead, return to Byron to progress the quest as normal.

Cistern: Found from Winterberry’s inventory. The merchant can be located in Revelation Depths after draining the sewage at Cistern.

A partially charred letter, much of its text rendered illegible by time and damage.

As you progress through the game, you’ll come across the Tortured Prisoner and as part of her Quest, you’ll need to retrieve items and hand them over. The Charred Letter is the third such item needed and once you hand it over to her at the entrance to Bramis Castle, it will cause her to move on to the castle itself.

Bramis Castle: From the Vestige of the Bloody Pilgrim, head to the closest staircase and you’ll find the letter waiting for you.

An ancient, chipped runesmithing tablet. While not omnipotent, the Crafter knew much, including a level of expertise with runes the likes of which had never been equalled, a mastery achieved across numerous ages and realities.

This is the second of three Rune Tablets that you can find and give to the blacksmith, Gerlinde. With each new tablet you give her, more wares will appear at her shop and giving all three is required to complete her quest, giving you the option of one of the best Runes in the game.

Upper Calrath: When you Soulflay the Stigma and witness someone giving a toast to the nobles of Calrath. You’ll get the usual two Umbral Scourings for doing so. Behind the Stigma is the Chipped Rune Tablet in the fireplace

An ancient, fractured runesmithing tablet. While not omnipotent, the Crafter knew much, including a level of expertise with runes the likes of which had never been equalled, a mastery achieved across numerous ages and realities.

One of three Rune Tablets you can find and give to the blacksmith, Gerlinde. With each new tablet you hand over, more wares unlock and finding all three progresses her quest, allowing you to potentially obtain one of the strongest Runes in the game.

Fitzroy’s Gorge: After meeting Drustan, drop down a few platforms below and at the end of the path below the ladder is a Cracked Rune Tablet.

The Damaged Standard is one of the two items you need to find as part of Stomund’s NPC Quest. You will then be able to hand over the Damaged Standard to him when you locate him at the Hallowed Sisters area.

Located in the Catacomb area of the Manse of Hallowed Brothers. Follow the first path up from the first Vestige into the guarded camp area below the Manse. From there enter the stone pathway into the tunnel area. Follow the tunnel towards a flooded cell down some stairs and you can claim the standard inside it.

Damarose’s Seedpod is an important item used in the steps to obtain the Umbral Ending of Lords of the Fallen, the toughest one to unlock. Once you have it on you, return to Damarose in Pilgrim’s Perch and use the item to kill her and unlock one of the floating platforms in Mother’s Lull.

Make sure you’re not on the Radiant Ending path (by lighting the beacons) and purchase the Umbral Scouring Clump from Molhu for 50 Umbral Scouring. You must defeat the bosses at the Broken Depths before you get this option. With this in hand, you will have access to Mother’s Lull, where you can find friendly remnants. One of these will give you Damarose’s Seedpod.

A tool developed by the Dark Crusaders to allow them to communicate across vast distances.

The Dark Crusader’s Call is one of the items needed for Exacter Dunmire’s NPC Quest. This is the fifth item that he requests, coming after you had over Ravager Gregory’s Rosary. He’ll mention that Harrower Dervla has stolen the item and asks you to retrieve it. Once you defeat Dervla at the Revelation’s Depths and return the item to him, he’ll send you off on the next item, while you may notice a change in his behavior.

Revelation Depths: Obtained as a reward after defeating Harrower Dervla and The Unbroken Promise.

An Umbral parasite extracted from Elianne.

Elianne’s Umbral Parasite is one of the items required to obtain the Umbral Ending for Lords of the Fallen. Once you’ve obtained it after defeating Elianne, the Starved, return to Molhu at Skybridge and enter Mother’s Lull once more, this will progress you to the final steps of the Umbral Ending.

Mother’s Lull: Obtained from Elianne the Starved in Mother’s Lull.

The Rune of Adyr, further empowered by its creator.

The Empowered Rune of Adyr is needed and used to trigger the Inferno ending in Lords of the Fallen. Once you have the rune, return to the five beacons and overload them with the empowered rune. Return to the Empyrean beacon after this and once Judge Cleric is defeated, go over and use the Empowered Rune of Adyr to trigger the ending.

Bramis Castle: In the Throne Room; Players need to interact with Adyr’s Effigy in the Throne Room and hand over the Rune of Adyr.

You’ll find this item in the Revelation’s Depths, in Harrower Dervla’s boss arena, once you complete his quest (along with Dunmire’s Ring).

A tome extolling the divinity, virtues and glorious history of the Cleric.

Pilgrim’s Perch: From the Vestige of Blind Agatha, turn to Umbral and follow the descent path. Go through the area that had water, and follow this route until you come out on the very heights of the Perch. Here you will face several tough enemies, and can find the Hallowed Sentinel Scripture in one of the cages in the main platform, as well as a Stigma

Revelation Depths: Obtained as a reward after defeating Harrower Dervla and The Unbroken Promise

Lower Calrath: Obtained as a reward for defeating the Infernal Enchantress boss and can be dropped from the Infernal Enchantress if she is encountered as a regular enemy

A document detailing your debt to the mercenary Kukajin for employment of her services.
Kukajin was born a member of the Envenomed, back when her father led the clan at the height of its power. But his death years later would mark the beginning of the group’s dissolution, and eventually Kukajin found herself alone and drifting through foreign lands far from Yisugen.

Tower of Penance: After picking up a Rebirth Chrysalis from a chest, exit the cell and jump directly down onto a stone platform. Behind you on the stone platform, you’ll find some wooden planks that can be destroyed to reveal a Stigma you can soulflay for x2 Umbral Scouring and the Perception Wisp

Lower Calrath: From the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch, head up the wooden planks to the right. As you emerge on the rooftops, be careful of the Raw Mangler waiting to attack you. Carefully claim Ravager Gregory’s Rosary from the impaled corpse here

Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters: From the Umbral Flowerbed at the end of the hall near the candle-lit doorway, head into the doorway with the lit candles. Walk to the altar to find the Rune of Adyr. (If The Iron Wayfarer takes this during the boss battle against the Rapturous Huntress of the Dusk, you can still obtain this after fighting The Iron Wayfarer (Boss) at Upper Calrath, by the gates of Bramis Castle)

The Empyrean: After you defeat Judge Cleric, the Radiant Sentinel and if you’ve spoken to Thehk-Ihir in all the Locations he wandered into, you’ll find the Thorned Chalice in the middle of the battlefield

A lamp crafted by Molhu, last of the Nohuta. Contains a strange and ravenous light which allows its chosen bearer to not only enter and manipulate Umbral, the hidden realm beyond Axiom, but even resurrect upon death.

Lower Calrath: Just as you enter Lower Calrath, move forward along the path to eventually find a Stigma to Soulflay on your right. You’ll witness a Dark Crusader steeling himself with a mantra before walking away. You’ll get the usual x2 Umbral Scourings and the Wooden Dark Crusader Cross for listening in.
