Dont Look Down

Welp, it looks like you’ve been captured by Yuma and Pagan and it’s up to you to escape. After regaining control of Ajay, head into the cell across from you and read the note to learn about escaping via a grappling hook. The only problem is that you’re going to need to assemble one, with there being two parts. There’s a ledge on the outside portion of your cell that leads to another area.

As you will see right away, there is one of the demons from Shangri-La in the area and it will hunt you down and kill you, should it see you. Once it starts moving, crouch and move straight ahead, turning left when you can until you come to a room with two large braziers. There will be an exit here that will lead into a room with one of the two pieces needed for your grappling hook.

Your sole objective in the first part of the mission is to gather the two pieces needed to construct a grappling hook, so you can escape the prison.

Start running as soon as you grab it, not the way you came in, as it’s likely the demon will start chasing after you. When you get back to where you started, you’ll be safe and a door will open up for you, allowing you to access a new area. This section is a bit like a maze and there’s another demon here, so be extra careful and listen to your heartbeat to know when you’re close to it.

You’re looking for a room with a man that’s hanging, which will be your rope for the grappling hook. As soon as you grab it, the demon will be coming after you, so get running back to your cell, where you’ll find a grapple point to go downwards. You’ll have to keep using the grapple to swing to ledges, as well as get onto other grapple points, until you get knocked down by the demon chasing you.

After regaining control of Ajay, you’ll have to continue your escape, but there’s one slight problem. You have no weapons, no camera and not even a knife on you, meaning you’ll want to be extremely careful. Move down the slope until you spot an enemy (Heavy) and a dog in the distance, stopping until they move out of the way.

If you go onto the upper ledge, then you’ll be able to grab a throwing knife, as well as a few more stuck into a body below. Slowly descend more until you see a normal enemy, so wait until he stops and kill him with the throwing knife. Take his weapon and keep moving down until you see an enemy on a building, as well as another Heavy.

You don't have any weapons, including your melee one, so make sure you pick up the few throwing knives pictured to help defend yourself until you can find weapons.

Since you don’t have a normal knife yet, you can’t do stealth kills, so leave the Heavy alone. Sneak your way over to the other enemy and impale him with one of your throwing knives, then climb up when possible to disable the alarm. You should be able to sneak over to the other alarm in the area and disable that one as well.

Ignore the Heavy and head down to the broken tower, which if you read a note along the way, you’ll know that some weapons are stored there. There’s a sniper on top of the tower, as well as two dogs, two more Heavies, two new alarms and other men. As you’re facing north on your minimap, stick to the left side and kill the guy roaming there before heading inside the tower.

Stock up on the goodies and begin climbing and grappling your way to the top of the tower, where you’ll find a sniper rifle and RPG. Luckily, enemies can’t climb up here, although they will shoot you, but you’ll be able to retreat temporarily to heal. Use your new goodies to take out all of the enemies, then you’ll be able to escape via the locked door. Keep moving forward until a cutscene starts, ending the mission.
