Where to find Cockfighting
In order to play Cockfighting you’ll need to play through the main story until you reach the Montero Farm in Costa Del Mar, then speak with Ivan Minoso who can be found standing near the Cockfighting Ring.
After the conversation has come to a close, collect your first Rooster from the wooden box next to Ivan, then Interact with Ivan again and you’ll find yourself taken in the Fight Screen. Here you’ll be given the choice between three difficulties, Civilian, Guerilla, and Revolutionary. However, in order to unlock the harder difficulties you’ll need to increase your Civilian Rank. Upon winning a Cockfight you’ll be rewarded with Yaran Pesos.
How To Win a Cockfight
Cockfighting is a pretty simple mini-game once you’ve played a couple rounds and have gotten used to the controls. Your best strategy to winning every battle is by waiting for the opponent to strike you, then go in with a Long Range Attack followed by a Close Range Attack. Repeat this until the red bar below your health is charged, then press L1 + R1 to trigger the Gallo Super Rage Mode Attack.
How To Get More Roosters
There are up to 19 Roosters for you to own in Far Cry 6, but only 13 of them can be found scattered around Yara and the remaining six are unlocked through Ubisoft Connect Rewards. Be sure to check out our Rooster Locations page to find out where to find them!
