Beavers are one of the collectibles that players can find in the world of Castor Woods. The collectible is depicted as a bronze-ish statue of a beaver, often found in major POIs or landmarks around the map. You will need to find 11 of these things to complete the challenge, and unlock the Know What ‘Castor’ Means? Trophy.

Beaver Locations¶
Often, the Beavers are found simply by doing some exploring, or via main story mission quest locations. They are not too hard to find in inconspicuous spots. That said, it is easy to miss them when zombies and combat occur and you’re not paying attention to dam building boys.

For reference, the image above is what a Beaver looks like in game to help make spotting them easier. They often have a note to collect from them to track your progress of what ones you’ve found one.

| Monk | When you first start the game, you find a few zombies banging on the monastery doors. There’s a Beaver in the Monastery garden to the left of the door you can find. | Map Marker |
| Town Hall Beaver | In the main story, you head over to the Town Hall early on, and it’s a main point of call for the remainder of the game. Simply go up to the front gate and access it. | Map Marker |
| The Artist | This one is from the main story, but it’s very close and near a major POI. Head to the road heading south into the Art Gallery in Old Town. The beaver is by the entrance to the Gallery grounds. Look right next to the gate and you’ll see it. | Map Marker |
| The Librarian | This one is related to the Library building, another major POI. You’ll either come here for a safe zone or as part of Doug’s quest chain from the town hall. Head towards the library’s main road, and then by a bench is the beaver near the south facade of the library. | Map Marker |
| Backpack Beaver | The Backpack Beaver is one that is easily missable, but when taking on the main story mission from the Town folk to hunt the strange monster, you can head this way. Go to the Ranger Station in the National Park, southwest from the Abandoned House Safe Zone. You’ll find the Beaver on a boulder near the patio area slightly below and to the left of the Inn. | Map Marker |
| Dam Builder | As part of the Power Gambit main story mission, you’ll make your way towards the Recreational Island to help restore the power. To the southwest side of the Power Plant you’ll find the Beaver by the canal flowing between the plant and the station on the mini island. | Map Marker |
| Soldier | This one is by the Monument, which you visit again as part of the main storyline. Head towards the Monument in the Villa region around level 6 and you can get your hands on the Beaver to the left of the park by a garbage can and a pink flower bed. | Map Marker |
| Engineer | The Engineer is in the Industrial Zone, which you will head to right after the Monument actually. You can find the Beaver to the southeastern tip, near the main road leading to the Industrial area from Monument. You can see it by some gates leading towards the main area of the Industrial place. | Map Marker |
| Pharmacist | The Pharmacist is one of the missable ones in the later game. This is found next to the entrance to a Pharmacy Dark Zone in the Villa area of the game. The Dark Zone is in the middle of the Villa’s main area | Map Marker |
| Farmer | The Farmer is the final one, and it is by the main road leading under the tunnel from Villa going into Pembroke farmer area. | Map Marker |
