Outspoken old friend of Regis who owns and operates the Hammerhead garage. Although he’s getting on in years, Cid remains the master mechanic he was when he traveled alongside Regis thirty years before, and beneath the surly surface beats a warm and gentle heart.

Cid Sophiar is a legendary mechanic and engineer in Final Fantasy XV, known for his unparalleled skills and vast knowledge of weaponry and machinery. He is an independent operator who is not bound by any organization or government, and is widely respected throughout the world of Eos. Cid is responsible for upgrading and customizing the party’s weapons and machinery, and offers various side quests that involve gathering rare materials and completing challenging tasks to unlock powerful upgrades.
