Map of Paralogue 19

Location Objective
Mountain Fort Rout the Enemy.

This is one of the more straight-forward Paralogue chapters. What you see is what you get: no enemy reinforcements and a fairly straight-up fight up a mountain.

The gimmick for this map is the Dragon Veins. Activating them will “Intimidate area foes, forcing them to flee.” When activated, any enemy within a 3 tile range will automatically leave the battlefield, and leave behind 500G per enemy as an apology. There are 7 Dragon Veins total. Now, comes the choice: Will you defeat the enemies EXP, or scare them away for Gold?

Your aim will dictate how you play the map. If you are aiming for money, get some high defense units to move into position, tank the mobs for a turn or two to lure as many enemies as possible into Dragon Vein range, then expel them from the field. If you are aiming for EXP, take out the enemies once you lure them out. Split your team up into two parties, sending a team up west and a team up east. Support each team with a healer or two and you should be set. 4-5 tough units on each team can handle each route, but check the enemies attack range regardless and pull each group one at a time to make steady progress. The enemies will not move until you are in attack range.
