Description

Found orbiting Deepala in the Narion system, the Stroud-Eklund Staryard is essentially the manufacturing base and primary dealership for Stroud-Eklund ships and components, offering a full range of the latter, including hab units not found anywhere else in the game.

Stroud Eklund Staryard - Ships for Sale

As a staryard (essentially the equivalent of a modern shipyard… but in space!) the Stroud-Eklund Staryard sells (via the NPC vendor Havershaw) a variety of starships. Despite their imposing names and substantial price tags, however, most of the unique ships offered here aren’t impressively powerful, with underpowered reactors and only moderate hull/shield stats. Some of them do, however, offer an immense amount of cargo capacity, for what that’s worth.

Neon (Volii, Volii Alpha). Enter the Ryujin Tower and take the elevator to Taiyo Engineering. The vendor, Veronica, sells all Taiyo brand components.
New Homestead (Sol, Saturn, Titan). Land on Titan, a moon of Saturn in the Sol system. The Ship Services Technician here sells all Neon Galactic components.

The Overdesigned Mission, which you can accept following the events of the High Price to Pay Main Quest, will send you to this Staryard and assist in the creation of new ships for Walter Stroud. Upon completion of this mission, you’ll be able to choose from the following exclusive ships (you will have to wait until a New Game+ to obtain the other reward):

Notes & Trivia

This is the only location where you can buy some of the larger (2x2, 2x3 and 3x2) Stroud-Eklund habs. Also sells all Stroud-Eklund cockpits, which generally feature more Crew Stations than other brands.
