I can confirm after completing a full playthrough where Shadowheart abandoned Shar, all the Shar worshipers were killed (except Shar's friend) and Viconia was killed, the Mirror still works for everyone but Shadowheart (unknown whether this is exclusive to Selunite Shadowheart as I don't have a Shar Shadowheart save in Act 3.

Interestingly Shadowheart or any Selune worshiping character will have disadvantage on the Religion check. But I will emphasise that even with a Natural 20 on the check with Selune Shadowheart, the mirror states it's not interested.

DJKeterson is wrong you can kill all the Sharans (in Act2+3) not spare Viconia and have Shadowheart worship Selune (in this playthrough without killing Nightsong) and still get the +2 ability bonus (got 22 int on the MC). Just make sure you succeed all the skill checks (25 checks) get the ogre headband (17 Int) Guidance (skill check cantrip) + Enhance Ability (cleric spell) mb Astral Knowledge (Gith) what have you. And prove DJKeterson wrong (i did). Good luck.

I would like to add a very crucial bit to the info here. In a case where you save Nightsong and decide to fight the Shar's followeres in the Chamber of Loss you can't gain anything positive from the mirror. Regardless of the stat you offer, including the successful Religion and Deception checks and your memory being accepted you will always get the same result stating you are not interested in anything the mirror has to offer and you will not be presented with the options to choose a new memory instead.

This holds true even if you decide to spare the Mother Superior aka Viconia DeVir after your fight.

In the end for players who want that +2 stat boost, make sure you side with Shar from the start of your playthrough and kill Nightsong.
