Activision has revealed the mastery camo system for Call of Duty Black Ops 7, confirming 16 total mastery camos spread across the game’s four main modes. Each mode will feature four unique mastery camos, with dedicated progression tracks for multiplayer, zombies, and the co-op campaign.
Coop Mastery Camos¶

The co-op campaign is getting its own dedicated camo track for the first time in the series, featuring four exclusive mastery camos:
- Molten Gold
- Moonstone
- Chroma Flu
- Genesis
This marks a significant shift for the franchise, as previous games typically limited mastery camos to multiplayer, Warzone and zombies modes only.
Multiplayer Mastery Camos¶

For multiplayer fans, the four mastery camos are:
- Shattered Gold,
- Arclight,
- Tempest
- Singularity
These will require players to complete various weapon challenges and progression milestones across Black Ops 7’s multiplayer maps and modes. The mastery grind has always been a staple of Call of Duty games, and Black Ops 7 continues that tradition with what looks to be some visually striking designs.
Zombies Mastery Camos¶

As for zombies, you get these mastery camos:
- Golden Dragon
- Bloodstrone
- Doomsteel
- Infestation
Warzone Mastery Camos¶

During the final segment of CoD Next, players got the chance to see the Warzone mastery camos. You’re about to see a repeat theme of what’s going on here:
- Golden Damascus
- Starglass
- Absolute Zero
- Apocalypse
Again, the first reward is a golden camo. Albeit, this is a take on the Damascus skin line that was super popular in previous games. Moving on you have starglass, which is new spin. This seems to shine between green and blue depending on lighting, which is quite nice. Then you have the next elemental theme one, Absolute Zero, with its snow white and ice blue, it looks fantastic. Then you have Apocalypse, the mastery camo in Black Ops 7 that looks really fleshy. it has animated effects on it too, with the veins getting bulgier and redder as it fires more. Why this is not the zombies one I do not know but hey, Warzone players at least get to celebrate with mass player apocalypse feats for their warzone rounds.
Other camos¶
The addition of co-op campaign mastery camos is particularly interesting, as it gives players who prefer PvE content their own progression path without needing to touch competitive multiplayer or zombies. Whether you’re a multiplayer grinder, zombie slayer, or co-op enthusiast, Black Ops 7 ensures there’s a mastery camo chase tailored to your preferred playstyle.
If you’re into camos, then Activision and all of the CoD studios are going hard on the camo grind. There’s camo rewards fro the weekly season changes, weapon prestige - a new feature to the game animated skins for the seasonal weekly completionist.
