All Ancient Ruins Locations in Crimson Desert

Use Force Palm to strike the plates in the following order to solve the puzzle.

1. Middle
2. Right
3. Left

Reward: Abyss Artifact

1. Use Nature’s Grasp or Axiom Force to clear the pillars on the ground.
2. Step onto the disc in the center of the ruin (surrounding the central statue) to power a light beam.
3. Look at the statue that the light beam is striking. Note the item in the hand of that statue.
4. Use the Stab skill (on the blue Stamina skill tree) to pierce the “handle” on the dial.
5. Turn the dial so that the gap in the frame lines up with the symbol that matches the item in the hand of the statue, e.g. horse, scales, wheel, etc.
6. You need to complete three rounds of this puzzle with escalating complexity, due to multiple light beams in rounds 2 and 3. The solution remains the same, however.

To solve this puzzle, you must look at the areas marked on the map on the wall to find the three symbols. Then return and turn the symbols in the center pit to match those you found.

• Western Stone - Turn this around so the sun is on top.

• Northern Stone - Turn this around so the lines coming out of the circle are pointing to the west.

• Eastern Stone - Turn this around so the smaller spiral circle is in the southwest and the larger is in the northeast.

Rotate the four states so that they’re all facing the pedestal in the center.

Located to the south of Galepulley, hidden in the woods. Easiest way to find it is to get on top of Galepulley, face south, and shine your blade. Then, you can glide over to it.

Complete the puzzle to open up an Abyss Cresset, and earn an Abyss Artifact.

1. Collect the Mallet from the pedestal next to the bells.
2. Take note of the order of notes as they appear on the wooden board to the left of the bells.
3. Equip the Mallet, then aim at the bells and strike them in the order depicted on the board.

Close to the Abyss Cresset is a white rock, this needs to be placed on the circled spot.

Use your Blinding Light attack with your sword on the moss here to reveal it as a Stoneback Crab, defeat it and place the rock there.

Note: The space where a crab is may be randomized.

Can be found to the southeast of Fort Perwin.

To complete this puzzle, you must match the symbols on the tiles by walking to the same one without stepping on the same tile twice.

Located to the south of the river. These ancient ruins contains a puzzle that rewards you with an Abyss Cresset and an Abyss Fragment.

East from Sanctum of Mortification.

Located to the south of Arboria. Here, you’ll find a fountain puzzle. Completing this will reward you with an Abyss Artfiact.

Ancient Ruins of unknown origin.

Follow these steps to solve the puzzle:

1. Locate the blue hologram that appears on the eastern side of the ruin. Press L1/LB to “Observe” it to learn the Nature’s Snare skill.
2. Stand next the wind turbine closest to the hologram, and begin casting Nature’s Snare. The turbine will begin to spin and rise up once you’re in range. When it reaches the top, the water will drain from the ruin.
3. Do the same again for the second, previously submerged turbine. When this one reaches the top, the nearby Abyss Cresset will activate, and the Challenge will complete.
