Dwayne will ask you sometime after completing the Seeking The Sage Questline.
The quest is about going hunting enemies around the camp. Its a several stage process where you will help him become a better fighter. Make sure he is near an enemy when you kill it to trigger the next stage of the quest.
The quest will also take some time before he is ready to depart for the next stage of the mission.
