Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

Recruiting Allies for the Headquarters

By
Jessica Dillon

Once you escape and build your new home, Nowa will be sent to gather more allies. There is no marker or hint to help you find your new party members, and one of them is rather easy to miss if you don’t walk to the right spot. You may even find yourself wandering around for a long period of time trying to find the last ally to move the story forward. The guide below goes over where to find all four new heroes and explains how to recruit each one of them.

Wyler is one of the new party members you recruit after moving to the castle.

Where to Find the Four Recruitable Allies

Once you arrive at the Headquarters, a large variety of new activities will open. Before you can progress the main story, you will need to find additional allies. There are four that you can recruit, but they can be easy to miss, especially in the case of Martha. Once you’re ready to start searching for allies, head outside of the castle and go to your right, past the inn. You will want to head north once you can no longer go right, and a cutscene will play where you encounter Martha and she joins your party. Martha will increase acquisition from food gathering points.

Bounty Hill Recruits

After getting Martha, you will need to head out into the world. You can head to the right side of the map, where you will find Bounty Hill where both Wyler and Marin can be found. Speak to Wyler at the start of the hill and help him find Marin to get the duo to join your party. More information on completing this quest can be found here. Wyler is the first hero you can add to your main party and is a ranged bow-user while Marin increases acquisition at all collection points.

(1 of 3) Martha can be found on the right side of the castle at the Headquarters.

Dappled Forest

The last character that you can recruit is on the left side of the map, in an area named Dappled Forest. Here, you will find Kerrin and she will ask you to gather 20 pieces of Lumber and bring it to her. This is easy to do as their gathering points are plentiful in the Dappled Forest. Once you have enough, return it to her and Kerrin will join your party as another support. When in your party, she will increase acquisition at logging points.

Once you have this final ally, head back to the Headquarters. After you return, you will get to play as a new character in a distant village for a short while. This will show you the next area your party is venturing to. Once you are back in control of Nowa, you will meet a Treefolk named Kallathor, who will lead you on the next part of your journey.

A spiritual successor to the Suikoden series, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a classic JRPG that gives you the opportunity to recruit over 100 characters throughout your journey. Nowa, a boy from a small village, travels to the city to become a member of the Watch, only to be suckered into a plot to stop an empire from utilizing Rune-Lenses to expand their power and reach.
