Astel, Naturalborn of the Void is a malformed star which landed in the Lands Between long ago, and is found in Grand Cloister, Lake of Rot.

• Astel, Naturalborn of the Void can be found by Grand Cloister. Upon reaching this Site of Grace you have to go down towards the small river of Scarlet Rot. By staying on the left side of the grand structure, you’ll see a coffin which will take you in front of the Boss Room fog wall.

You must defeat this boss if you’re on the path to obtain the Age of the Stars Ending involving Ranni the Witch. This is the last major obstacle before you can obtain your main rewards and the trigger condition for the ending.

This is likely the third Dragonkin Warrior that you will encounter after:

• Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella
• Dragonkin Soldier (Nokron, Eternal City)

• Roughly the south-east section of the Lake of Rot sitting dormant in the waters. Make sure to raise all the platforms in the area before fighting it to avoid Scarlet Rot accumulation.

• As melee, you have the opportunity for lots of free hits as the Dragonkin Soldier rises at the start of the battle.
• Ensure that you have multiple methods to recover from Scarlet Rot.
• This battle is much easier as a magic user, you can keep your distance and avoid its slow attacks.
