What is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth?
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. It is the second installment in the Final Fantasy VII Remake project, a reimagining of the iconic original game from 1997. This game, set to release on February 29, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, continues the story of Cloud Strife and his party of characters as they journey across a vibrant and expansive world to thwart the plans of the megacorporation Shinra and their former elite soldier, Sephiroth.
The gameplay combines real-time action with strategic and role-playing elements, offering a more open-ended environment compared to the previous installment’s linear progression. Players can explore the world, engage in thrilling combat, and deepen the relationships among the party members to unleash powerful team-based combos.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth also offers various editions, including a Deluxe Edition and a Collector’s Edition with additional in-game items and collectibles. Preordering the game unlocks the Midgar Bangle Mk. II armor, and players with save data from previous titles in the project receive special bonuses.
In summary, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the highly anticipated next chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake project, offering a reimagined and expanded experience of the classic game’s story and gameplay.

Prices come from our retail partners. We may earn a commission when you buy through these links, which never changes the price you pay or the order offers appear in. How this works
How offers are ranked
Offers are ranked by price, not by the commission Gamer Guides receives.
Cheapest confirmed price first. Offers we can confirm are in stock come before offers whose availability is uncertain, and any offer without a current price sits at the bottom.
Prices exclude delivery unless a retailer states otherwise, so the cheapest listed price is not always the cheapest delivered price. Prices and availability change, and a price we cannot re-verify is hidden rather than shown as though it were current.
