If you uncover everything before taking the inheritance yourself you get profit factor +4 and don't have to fight anyone.
If you uncover everything and find Fidelio, as well as use Iconoclast and give inheritance to granddaughter, you get profit factor increased by +4. Much better than just confiscating it and receiving +1. Not to mention a quite satisfying resolution with Fidelio in this case.
