Visit the nearest Ranger Station to unlock upgrades for your standard issue Omni-Tool. This new attachment allows you to dig up soil samples, find underground delicacies, and bury your deceased colleagues in the event of their untimely demise.

You will be required to provide some vegetation samples to purchase this upgrade. Raw Science not included.
