Whim Balloon

Smash the wooden crate next to the veranda near the Fireworks Carriage, then give chase!

Floating high above the Sizzle & Spark Center. You can jump up from the north-east side, then use a wishnet to launch up.

Small island at Clearheart Lake. Reel in the glowing fish. You can reach by floating from the north-eastern highlands.

South from Clearheart Lake, at a ledge overlooking a wooden pier. Groom the Whimink.

Atop the small ruins at Flaming Forest.

West and slightly south from Sizzle & Spark Center. Groom the Whimink.

North-west from Sizzle & Spark Center. Reel in the glowing fish.

North-west from Songbreeze Highland Foothills. Glowing treasure chest filled with Esselings across the river.

Curio north and slightly west from Songbreeze Highland Foothills.

1. Activate the high up switch on the left.
2. Drag the box on the right across the platform, towards the high up switch.
3. Jump from the box to the high up switch and activate it 3 times.
4. Move the box onto the right pressure pad.
5. Return to the high up switch and activate it 1 more time.
6. Jump/float to the exit.

North-west from Waterfall Cavern (Firework Isles), high up in the air. You can groom a Sky Monarch towards the north and ride it here. Or use the gliding outfit from atop Fireworks Peak.

North from Fireworks Peak, behind some rubble. There are some boulders to the south-west that you should use.

Short distance north from Entrance to Gloomy Cavern. In a small cave protected by Esselings.

Curio north-west from Entrance to Gloomy Cavern. Tip: The crate is wooden so it’ll break if dropped from a great height; make sure there’s water underneath before dropping it.

North from Entrance to Gloomy Cavern. On a small island surrounded by Esselings.

North-east from Entrance to Gloomy Cavern. At a small ruin occupied by Esselings. Underneath the wooden floorboard.

Short distance north-east from Songbreeze Highland Foothills. Use a plunging attack to break the wooden crate, then chase after the balloon.

Curio short distance north-west from Crescent Shoal.

1. Move the nearby crate into the laser, then jump across.
2. Use the switch here to reset the box. Then push the 2nd crate onto the 2nd platform.
3. Return to the 1st crate and push it into the laser again.
4. Jump across to the endpoint.

You can also use the gliding outfit to skip steps 2 to 4.

West from Crescent Shoal, atop a small plateau. Catch the Whimflutter.

East from Waterfall Cavern (Firework Isles), near the north side of the broken bridge. Touch the patchwork balloon, then collect the mini balloons.

North-east from Fireworks Peak. High up in the air. There are wishnets that you can use to launch up.

West from Fireworks Peak. Break the wooden crate with a plunging attack, then get ready for a wild goose chase…

Near the Songbreeze Highland Hillside Warp Spire. Catch the Whimflutter floating high up. There’s a leaf trampoline nearby.

South-east from Songbreeze Highland Foothills. Catch the Whimflutter.

Short distance south from Fireworks Peak. Touch the patchwork balloon, then collect the small balloons while riding/following the cloud.

Curio north from Fireworks Peak. Stand on the platform and guide the two balls through the maze. Tip: You don’t need to get both balls through the goal at the same time.

West and slightly north from Songbreeze Highland Foothills, somewhat near the shore. Touch the incomplete balloon, then gather the mini balloons.

Short distance east from Crescent Shoal. Atop a pillar.

Short distance north from Crescent Shoal, near the blossom tree. Catch the Whimflutter. You may need to jump from atop a nearby wall.

Short distance south-west from Crescent Shoal, near the shore. Open the glowing treasure chest and defeat the Esselings.

West side of the Relic Isles. Smash the glowing crate, then chase after the balloon.

South-west corner of the Relic Isles. Catch the Whimflutter at the back of the first set of ruins.

North-east from Sizzle & Spark Center. Touch the patchwork balloon, then collect the small balloons as you ride/follow the cloud.

Short distance east from Sizzle & Spark Center. Floating high up. There are wishnets nearby that you can use to launch up.

Curio south-east from Sizzle & Spark Center. Behind a house near the harbor.

Relic Isles. At a lopsided circular ruin.

Relic Isles. Inside a square-shaped ruin near the first island. You can enter from the east side, by jumping from the nearby sandbar.

Relic Isles. On a ramp-like pillar east from the final island.

North of Crescent Shoals. In an alcove by the shore. There may be Esselings nearby.

Short distance west from Fireworks Peak. Groom the Whimink.

South-east corner of the Crescent Moon Ruins. Groom the Whimink.

South-west from Entrance to Gloomy Cavern, higher up. At the south-east side of a plateau. There are air-blowing plants to the north that you can ride with the gliding outfit.

South from the Whimcycle Rental. Reel in the glowing fish.
