Milanese brigandine
Description
Composite armour according to an Italian tradition. It is actually a fake plate cuirass sewn into cow leather. Its arched belly disperses blows better than ordinary lamellae. The armour is also fitted with a wide skirt at the bottom, so that it covers the knight’s groin.
