The Garish Display is a heavy shield in Lords of the Fallen that has a very high Strength requirement to wield but in return offers excellent Stability and Physical protection as well as above average Magic protection.

Heavy Shields

The Miner’s Desperation is a heavy shield in Lords of the Fallen that has very high Wither protection as well as above average physical protection and Stability, though that’s to be expected given its very high weight requirement.

The Sunless Skein Overseers’ treatment of the miners grew increasingly cruel over time, and although some miners sought to defend themselves, ultimately there was no defence against the madness which crept into both the Overseers minds and their own.

Revelation Depth - On the opposite side of the shortcut gate next to the Vestige of Catrin, but you’ll have to unlock the gate from Revelation Depths. Make your way down the depths, and you’ll find an elevator shortcut leading up to the Catrin Vestige with the shield on a corpse beside it. Heavy Shields

The Ruiner Shield is a heavy shield in Lords of the Fallen that offers almost full protection against Fire damage, but it is extremely heavy with a high Strength requirement.

Ruiners serve as the calamitous hammer of Adyr’s forces, second only to the Rhogar giants in terms of physical power. Although unlike those simple-minded behemoths, Ruiners possess a cruel intelligence and an adeptness for war.

Defeat the Ruiner Boss to obtain the shield. Follow the right path toward Calrath, and progress the level until you reach a large ominous bridge. When you step on the bridge, the fight will begin. For more information on Shields, check out our All Shield Locations page.

The Shield of Whispers is a heavy shield in Lords of the Fallen that has a massive weight, requires 35 Strength to wield but offers very high protection across all damage types.

A disconcertingly organic shield seemingly formed around some kind of corpse.
Bearers of this shield often hear strange, indistinct whispering, with some even claiming to have briefly glimpsed the shield shift and writhe of its own accord.

• Inside one of the tunnels in the second half of the cave below the blacksmith’s. You need Umbral to travel through it as its flooded with poisoned water.
