Medium Shields - Lords of the Fallen (2023) Database

The Plain Shield is a medium shield in Lords of the Fallen that offers average protection against all damage types across the board. It is a reasonable starting shield for a sword and board type character but will quickly become obsolete.

A basic shield.
This shield may not be fancy, but in life-or-death circumstances, only a fool values elaborateness over usefulness.

From the Vestige of Chabui, make your way to Scourge Sister Delyth’s (flail boss) boss arena and follow the path out of the opposite door. Follow this until you head outside, and climb the ladder to your right. This will take you to another cave where you’ll have the Pilgrim’s Perch Key door and a Bed of Flowers. Exit the cave, and follow the path until you reach the Ardent Penitent enemy (spiked helmet). Behind him, is a ladder to the right which you can climb up. Do so, defeat the nearby Pilgrim Mage, and you’ll find the shield on the corner of the platform. For more information on Shields, check out our All Shield Locations page.

Medium Shields

The Crimson Rector Shield is a medium shield in Lords of the Fallen that offers average protection against most damage types but boosted protection against Holy magic.

Many bloody and cowed Hallowed Sentinels have looked up into the face of a looming Crimson Rector, hoping to glimpse some trace of clemency there, only to find nothing but an unmoved metal mask staring back at them.

• Looted from a dead knight beside a gate leading back into the safe hub. To get here, you need to do the following: From the Sanctuary Vestige, go through the main entrance, turn right, then look for the ladder going downwards at the end. Follow the pathway down, jump across, then follow the path again till you get to an elevator. Take that up, and then continue on your travels. You’ll eventually get to a stone brick area, where you can follow a pathway to the right. Open your Lantern and enter the Umbral and follow the bony path leading to a dead end on your next right. Drop down to the stage below, then walk across to the bridge to get to the other side of the chasm. Avoid the wraiths, then exit the Umbral using the checkpoint on the other side of the bridge, near to a collapsed wall you when you enter the stone brick area. Follow the regular path back up, and you should find the corpse, along with the gate leading back to the Safe Hub you can bypass with the lantern.

Medium Shields

The Hallowed Knight Shield is a medium shield in Lords of the Fallen that offers a balanced protection against Holy and Fire damage as well as reasonably average protection against other types.

Medium Shields

Lucent Sword Shield is a Medium Shield in Lords of the Fallen that is designed for Strength based builds due to its moderately high Physical damage reduction.

The Empyrean - Head into the church proper with the Empyrean Church Key found above, and head to the back of the room while hugging the left side.
