Once, a wealthy and aggrieved Mournstead businessman hired an assassin to kill Abbot Vernoff of the Hallowed Sentinels for his meddling in the businessman’s affairs, only for employer and assassin to end up occupying adjoining cells in the Tower of Penance.

Location: Tower of Penance

Start in the Tower of Penance.

Obtain the Pious Armour Tinct.

Progress along the walkway and face a Marksman.

Descend a nearby ladder.

Defeat the Carrion Knight on the third level with grate floors.

Interact with a lever near where the Carrion Knight emerged.

Ascend the ladder on the opposite side.

Enter a jail cell to the right.

Defeat the Avowed inside to obtain the Assassin’s Bow.

Bow of a Blackfeather Ranger.

The Blackfeather Rangers were renowned for their incredible accuracy with bows, and while few ever competed in Mournstead archery contests, those who did often emerged victorious.

Over time a number of Mournstead soldiers abandoned their duties and converted to become members of the Hallowed Sentinels instead, choosing devotion to the Cleric over devotion to their homeland, the issue becoming one of increasing concern to the kingdom’s rulers.

Start at Lower Calrath Staircase Umbral Flowerbed.

Descend and reach a large staircase.

Use Umbral Lamp to reveal an Umbral platform across.

Clear enemies and use Soulflay on a target to cross.

Find a sitting corpse with the Bow of the Convert in a sheltered area.

Location: Fief of the Chill Curse

Start at the Umbral Flowerbed checkpoint.

Pass three Mendacious Visage enemies.

Climb a wooden rampart to broken houses.

Open a chest near an Umbral exit statue to find the Bow of the Mutilated along with other items.

A bow of the Defiled Infantry.111 As remains the case with most kingdoms, before its ruination Mournstead was a place where mercenaries, thieves and assassins could often find work, the larger mercenary companies dispatching agents across the lands to seek out new, profitable contracts.

Location: Lower Calrath

Start at the vestige in Calrath Slums, specifically the one associated with Lydia the Numb Witch.

Descend the ladder leading to the broken bridge and the shortcut gate, which takes you to the beginning of the level.

Explore the edge of the broken bridge to discover the Defiled Infantry Bow.

A rotting bow.

Rats and other pests became enough of an annoyance in Sunless Skein that the Overseers gave the more obsequious miners bows and arrows and the duty of eliminating the creatures when sighted.

Acquisition Location: Dropped by Fungal Bowman enemies.

Simply defeat Fungal Bowman enemies to have a chance of obtaining the Fungal Bowman Bow in Lords of the Fallen.

Location: Pilgrim’s Perch

Start at the arena where you fought Scourged Sister Delyth.

Proceed deeper into Pilgrim’s Perch to outdoor wooden platforms.

Take the ladder going up and to the right.

Enter a cave but don’t open the Pilgrim’s Perch Key door.

Exit the cave and enter the Umbral.

Discover two bone slopes; choose the one going down and to the right.

Jump down to the bottom platform to find the Hallowed Bow.

Bow of a Kinrangr Hunter. Permanently cold to the touch.

Once, Kinrangr Hunters were renowned far and wide for their skill with a bow, a talent which remains undiminished in their now withered, frigid bodies.

Acquisition Location: Dropped by Kinrangr Hunter enemies.

To obtain the Kinrangr Hunter Bow in Lords of the Fallen, you’ll need to defeat Kinrangr Hunter enemies, and the bow has a chance to drop as loot from these enemies.

Acquisition: After finding and speaking to Thehk-Ihir next to the Vestige of Rosamund in the Abbey, you can purchase the Sin-Piercer Bow from him as it expands his inventory.

Skill with a bow was vital to Udirangran shamans who lived in the wild as they needed to hunt not only to survive but also to kill those creatures whose flesh, bones, skin or organs possessed properties useful to the shamans’ primal magic.

Location: Fief of the Chill Curse

Acquisition Method:

Start at the Vestige of Svornil in the Fief of the Chill Curse.

Proceed through the iron gates and continue down the path.

Reach a wooden ledge and drop down.

Collect x1 Udirangr Shaman Bow.
