• Sunless Skein: After the vestige and opening the gate to the rest of the area, head through the gate and take a ladder on the left side of your screen. Fight through the enemies and explore the top area to find the item inside a box.

Marksman Crossbow can be obtained from:

• Can drop from Marksman enemies.
• Revelation Depths: From the Umbral Flowerbed in the tunnels, continue along the path, clear out the enemies, and reach a short bridge. There, you can find a Holy Bulwark and multiple Avowed. Defeat them and continue down the ladder on the left to pick up the Marksman Crossbow.

An advanced type of crossbow capable of firing several bolts simultaneously.

Unsworth was responsible for a number of advancements in the design and efficacy of both crossbows and their ammunition, his lifelong physical frailness doing little to hinder his achievements and skill.

Multi-Shot Crossbow can be obtained from:

• Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters: From the Umbral Flowerbed at the courtyard, head to the left path and take the stairs all the way up. When you reach the locked gate, use your Umbral Lamp to reveal a path to get across. Cross the path, head up on the left, and clear the path as you continue to the right side, past the blood fountain. Go up the stairs to defeat the first Abbess that shoots radiant lasers at you. Then, head across to the left and defeat the Abbess that was shooting at you in that area. Nearby, you’ll find a chest containing the Multi-Shot Crossbow.

After the decimation of Mournstead’s military, a few determined survivors banded together in small resistance groups and struck back at the Rhogar with swift, precise attacks, but to little overall effect.

Partisan Crossbow can be obtained from:

• Starting Equipment for the Partisan.
• In Pilgrim’s Perch descent, after you kick the bridge to unlock the shortcut, turn around, move forward, and defeat the pilgrims. Then, look from the ledge to find a platform on the lower level. Drop there and defeat two more pilgrims. The Partisan Crossbow should be in the corner.
• Can be purchased from Gerlinde in Skyrest Bridge.

Trapper Crossbow can be obtained from:

• Drops from the Trapper enemy.
• Can be purchased from Thehk-Ihir after finding and speaking to him inside Skyrest Bridge, in front of the Vestige of Ethryg. Finding and speaking to him expands the merchant’s inventory which adds this item to the shop. Thehk-Ihir moves inside Skyrest Bridge at some point after you find and speak to him at the Shuja Hamlet (Vestige of the Pale Butcher) in the Forsaken Fen.
