Invasive Nerscylla

Description

An invasive subspecies of Nerscylla that stealthily hunts any who
wander into its territory. Prey is seized and immobilized by this
monster’s massive chelicera before being mercilessly devoured.

This monster’s head bears scars from turf wars with territorial
rivals. Although these scars are weak points, they are well hidden
by the creature’s large chelicera and proficiency with camouflage.

Large pigmentation cells dot the surface of this monster’s body.
It releases darker pigments to camouflage itself better as night
falls, which is why it excels at ambushing prey in the dark.
