Green Nargacuga

Description

The mottled green fur of this Nargacuga subspecies is speculated
to have served as an excellent camouflage in its verdant habitat
before it became endangered.

Its fur and scales are optimized to blend into green environments.
The irregular pattern of colors in its fur helps it hide, while
the appearance of its scales varies dramatically with the light.

The tail bears sharper spikes than that of the regular species and
thus sees more extensive use. Spikes can be flung at blinding speed
to pin prey to the ground while this monster hides in the foliage.
