Purple Ludroth

Description

This subspecies of Royal Ludroth sports a spongy, purple mane that
stores toxins produced in the body. With each step, poison seeps
out and permeates the vicinity.

The purple complexion that earned this monster its name is caused
by poison, but the beautiful milk-white scales are largely unmarred
by this discoloration and are popular choices for jewelry.

This subspecies displays a preference for watery areas since
hydrating its mane helps it revitalize. Nearby waters will turn
purple when it expels absorbed water along with its poison.
