Players are guaranteed to get one Deer Hide by skinning the corpse of a deer using your utility knife. This is often used in creating Deer Hide Armor, and may be used in constructions, like certain furnitures in The Forest (2018) when it gets deeper into full release or early access.

Rocks can be found in abundance throughout the map. As well as being used as the most basic clubbing melee weapon they are also essential in several structures such as the Huntsman’s Shelter and building fires.
