Bean Valley gives off the feeling of Autumn with leaves everywhere and other such delights, located deep in the Land’s End region. Mario and the team find themselves passing through the valley on the way to Monstro Town, where they hear rumors of a star. Despite not appearing much different from other such field areas like Bandit’s Way, Bean Valley is best known for the scattering of pipes everywhere. These will lead you to hidden treasures and also provide the way to the secret Casino so it’s well worth taking your time to thoroughly explore this area.

The mandatory boss here, Megasmilax will drop a Seed as reward for victory, and this forms one part of the items needed to obtain the best weapon and armor in the game.

Land’s End is actually, not the end of the land in Super Mario RPG. It does, however, offer Mario and the team a way to reach the rumored Monster Town where there are yet more rumors of a star. This dry and dusty region is full of tall cliffs where many a monster are hidden, looking to pounce on any travelers. Pass through here though, and you’ll reach a desert with many secrets, none less than the existence of a temple in Belome’s honor beneath the sands.

You may remember the name Belome as the boss of the Kero Sewers back in the Tadpole region. Well, it seems this mean beast is popular enough to have a temple built in its honor and you’ll find it hidden away in the Land’s End region. Mario and the team venture here during the hunt for the sixth star as they hear rumors of one in Monstro Town. The temple houses many secrets with the statue heads provided alternate paths through it.

As you may expect, you can find Belome at the depths, blocking the exit to Monstro Town and should you return following the events there, there is a hidden chamber full of treasure waiting to be claimed!
