Brencis may be the knyaz of Vale Sangora, but when it comes to Svartrau’s underworld, he has serious competition. The gambling, black market and brothels are run by a certain Andrei. He’s a secretive man – even those who work for him know little about his origins. He can sometimes be found near the Eastern Gate, by the butcher’s shop – which seems fitting for a man of his reputation.
