Lunka is my sister. I remember when she was just a toddler, and now… She’s so perceptive and smart, always finding out how to get what she wants. But still, she’s just a child, chasing whatever fancy catches her.
And that combination has me worried sick. She can’t tell right from wrong, or safety from danger. I’m more of a parent to her now than mum or dad… and I haven’t got a clue how to do it. I don’t want to be watching her every step… But she can’t end up like Alin. She just can’t.
