A Blood Soup Recipe
Text
- Mix a pint of fresh pig’s blood with three cups of water. Add a quart of vinegar and a pinch of salt, otherwise the blood will clot.
- Heat up two large spoons of lard in a pot. You may also add some garlic.
- Add the blood mixture. Heat the soup, but be careful not to let it boil.
- Simmer it for several minutes. Remember to stir from time to time.
- When the soup is almost ready, you may want to season it (if you have never tried blood soup before, this step is highly recommended).
