A Farewell Note

Coen,

This last entry in my journal I address to you. As you read this, I am no longer among the living.

Last night, I realised that I had been a fool – there is no stopping the hunger in me from growing. There is no sure method to keep myself in control. Therefore, it is only a matter of time before I hurt someone innocent. Perhaps I have already done so.

I decided to follow the only course of action available to me – to go out into the sun. My soul is already forfeit and I know that only Hell awaits me on the other side. But I find solace in that I won’t cause any more harm.

A final piece of advice – although we are not the same, at least half of you belongs to the night. Be wary, Coen. The vrakhiri powers seem like a gift, but they lead to damnation.
