To the people of Vale Sangora!

You do not know me. I am just a scribe, but I shall write the truth, as it is the only weapon I can wield against tyranny.

Skender Dragosti is a tyrant. A man who believes that the Divine right to rule ordained to him by God Almighty is not a sacred duty to his people, but a permission to oppress them and take whatever his selfish heart desires. He does not care whether we go hungry, or if our backs break from endless toil – as long as his coffers are full of silver, and his dining table bends under the weight of food. Food taken away from our families.

I know that the memory of Shrike’s Crag looms over us all. That we don’t want to share the fate of those who were drowned in their own blood over a decade ago. But we must do something. Vale Sangora is our home. It is our work that makes it grow and might yet bring prosperity to our children.

We must fight.
