Our agent succeeded in infiltrating the castle using a sigil stolen from a freshly-inducted kitchen hand. Regrettably, the majority of the information gathered is mere hearsay.
Some servants speak of ghostly howling echoing through the halls at night. Others whisper that Knyaz Brencis is tormenting all the prisoners in secret. A few insist he draws souls from the afterlife as a part of a ritual meant to cast the whole of Vale Sangora into eternal night. One person even claimed to have seen a “second moon” deep beneath the castle.
Oddly, everybody seems to agree on one thing – all the cats have left the castle.
