Vicho kept saying that he’s not quite sure what the pendant does, that it might be cursed and some other drivel like that, but I know the truth - he simply liked to have it in his possession. So I made it sure that I would frequent his curio shop and pester him for as long as it took for him to part with the pretty bauble. And finally, he caved! Took quite a hefty sum as well, but it doesn’t matter. It was worth it.

I spent the whole day with the pendant, carefully inspecting its every crevice and detail. And a weird thing happened. At some point, I felt the earth under my feet shake a bit. Just for a second, but it was noticeable. A coincidence? Or maybe Vicho had not been lying after all and there is more to my new possession. I need to look into it further.
