My Dearest Nicu,

I cried all night after having read what Racovitza’s men did to you and the lads. I hope that one day the mad thug and all his henchmen rot in Hell for that.

I wish I could be with you now and tend to your wounds, but there’s so much work at the inn that I can’t even catch my breath.

But I hope that – even without my care – you’ll get well quickly and soon be as good as new. Maybe you could ask for some time off? There’s so many of you there, I’m sure Constantin can afford to let you sit the next heist out.

Anyway, I’m thinking about you every day, my sweet bandit. And every night, too…
