Daughter,
Know this was not an easy decision, but you left me no choice. You really thought I did not see you sneaking to the market again? Asking that godless woman, Lavita, for food when you were meant to be fasting?
Do you not understand how vital it is to uphold our Lord’s will in these times of trial? How your very soul depends on it?
Well, clearly, you do not. Not yet.
Thus, from now on, we shall not speak. You will communicate only with Him – through silent prayer and repentance. Do so, and I will bring you food. But if I hear weeping again, I will not come at all.
Remember, my child – this is for your own good.
