Razkovniche Potion Recipe

A wondrous panacea recipe
(conceived by Eusebiu of Oghasti)

1. Take two medium-sized leaves of a well-fed razkovniche, as well as its entire root (don’t clean it!).
2. Grind the root in a mortar, then mix the powder with two drops of terebinth oil.
3. Place the leaves in a large clay bowl, one covering the other entirely.
4. Slowly pour boiling water on the leaves, starting from the stalks and then moving away from them. Pour no less than half a pint. The leaves must be touching each other the entire time!
5. Leave the brew for a hundred breaths. During that time, say the appropriate prayers (as per the Canonical Hours). Then mix the brew with the ground root at once.
6. Stir the mixture the number of times corresponding with the number of the current zodiac sign. If Mars is in retrograde, this step must be repeated.
7. Cohobate the mixture two or three times, exactly as described in ‘Liber de septuaginta’, until the liquid begins to smell potent and is the viscosity of Avicenna’s rose essence.
   P.S. Bear in mind that the potion will only affect the person who fed the razkovniche!
