The vrakhiri sicken me. This isn’t how this ends, I can feel it in my bones. Each mass, they take more. Each week, someone new disappears. There are transports filled with our blood, moving through the valley.

If you don’t pay attention, it seems like Vale Sangora has a new knyaz, and a new set of rules. It feels like nothing’s changing anymore, like we all just carry on, merely paying a different price for our right to live.

But I pay attention. Things are changing. They’re slowly bleeding us dry. If we let them, soon we’ll be dead, and the monsters will move on to the next valley.
