In the time of pestilence, our esteemed elderman Ion Barbu died suddenly taken by the foul air on the 12th day of April, in the year of our Lord thirteen hundred and forty-eight. To ensure our town remains protected and no evil spirits take the vacancy, Radu Barbu, the son of Ion Barbu, bless his departed soul, has taken the seat.

Furthermore, the vacated seats of Costea Lupul, Tudor Oprea, and Sfantului Gheorghe were filled on Saint George’s day, so that the governance does not fall into chaos and that we might survive the Lord’s trials.
