Xanthe’s men are transporting something back to their mistress. Whatever it is, it’d be best if I’d intercept it.

Check what happened to the transport	If these things were meant for Xanthe, they probably aren’t mere baubles. I could probably make use of them.
Loot the transported goods	Now that I’ve dealt with the bandits – let’s check what Xanthe was after.

1	Turns out these bandits were observing Xanthe’s men – and then attackted them to loot whatever they were carrying. But as the saying goes, where two dogs fight for a bone, a third runs away with it.
2	Don’t have the time to deal with this – I’m off to face Brencis.
