Find Lacra
You can play through the entirety of the game without discovering Lacra, and while her presence is hinted at by other NPCs, you have to go out of your way to meet her. There are signs around Svartrau pointing to her existence - by heading to the rooftops, you can trigger the A Friend Like This quest to quickly track her down.

Resist the urge to kill
During the Song of the Mountain quest, Lacra’s first instinct is to kill the uriashi, but you will lose out on merchants if you go down this route. It’s beneficial to keep the uriashi alive so you have more people to trade with.

The Night of Horrors rewards you with two of the best vampiric perks in the game if you romance Lacra and feed on the mandrake at the end of the quest. Completing this quest also unlocks Midnight Reckoning, giving you the option to take on Brencis with Lacra.
