The game opens with the movie of Autobots’ Ark flying to the portal, but they’re chased by Megatron’s ship and the two clash in space battle.
Bumblebee is knocked down by one of tow cables. When he comes around, use RS to look around - look left, then up, then right, then confirm your settings. Three Cons (short for Decepticons) will board the bridge, but the medic Auto will fire a flash of light blinding them. Use the Neutron Rifle Bumblebee comes with to kill all Cons, then collect ammo clip and wipe all intruders from the bridge.
Here’s a brief rundown of controls - X button reloads, B button switches your shoulder view, and Y button switched between primary and heavy weapons (you can only carry one of each type of weapon). Hold LT to zoom in with your equipped weapon and RT fires the equipped weapon. To perform a melee attack, you need to press RS (short for right stick).
After the defense grid is deactivated, an objective marker appears onscreen. Generally these show you the direction you need to go, and in this case it points to a lockbox. Approach it to retrieve the moleculon fuse, then turn around and follow two Autos (short for Autobots) in the corridor, jumping with A over debris as you go.
When you get to the jammed door, a fellow Auto will open it from other side. Press LB to dash thru it, and a tow cable will smash thru the side of the hull sucking out everybody but Bumblebee. To get across the hole in floor, press A to jump and then LB to jump dash. Makes you wonder why there isn’t many Autos who could transform into flying vehicles, while Cons are swarming with those.
Make your way forward and insert the fuse into the machine to restore the service lift, then enter the lift and melee both locks to get the lift moving. At the top you have to get across the bridge only to be stopped by two flame jets from the sides. Hold LB to sprint, and your HPs is reduced to 1. Collect a blue energon cube to restore both your shields and HPs. Note that shield eventually recovers on its own, but HPs do not. You have to collect energon cubes or enter Teletraan stores by buying a respective perk.
Enter next room and help fellow Auto clear all enemies, then get close to the panel next to the door. Hold LB to sprint and then press RS to sprint melee the Con working on the security grid panel. After a short scene you can now change forms by pressing LS (short for left stick).
Now transformed into the auto form, these are additional controls - hold LT to boost, and then hold RB for turbo boost. You can also jump with A. Press RT to fire vehicle’s weapons (some Transformers in campaign only have one vehicle weapon, while others have two).
Just follow the road and arrow markers showing you where to go (you can destroy barriers blocking the road by shooting them or boosting into them), and eventually you are greeted with a bunch of fellow Autos guarding the entrance to next area. Follow them and resupply your primary weapon ammo. You can approach various Autos and press X to talk to them. Sprint to next room and grab Thermo Rocket Cannon from the cache, then sprint up the ramp and defeat a wave of Cons guarding the pathway to next arch (Rocket Cannon sends them flying nicely).
Here you can find your first heavy ammo packs and picking them up will refill ammo for any type of heavy weapon your currently have equipped. Same thing applies for ammo packs for primary weapons. Ahead is an Auto titan fighting a wave of Cons - help him out by shooting the red container which explodes and destroy nearby Cons. More Cons appear ahead, as well as two on the high ground, so pay attention for those.
Move up to the marker, then push LS up and this chapter is complete.
