…is going mad, and I can’t stay with him. These woods are touched by something evil. They are taking us one by one. With each day I grow more certain that our infiltration did not cause this. Whatever power is at work here, it is greater than all of us. It feels somehow… inevitable. When I reach Skethermoor I shall bury what is left of our findings, somewhere out in the fields. The exact location I will keep until the day of my death. I am beginning to lose hope of anything more.
