Topple the Big Folk is an weapon action available exclusively to individuals proficient in wielding Balduran’s Giantslayer in their main hand. This technique channels the greatsword’s legendary power to enact a devastating blow against larger adversaries.

By employing this technique, the wielder deals supplementary damage equal to their Proficiency Bonus. Upon a successful strike, the effects on Large, Huge, or Gargantuan creatures are twofold: first, they sustain an additional 2-12 points of Slashing damage; second, they must undergo a Strength Saving Throw to maintain their footing or be rendered prone.

Requirements

A reward for overcoming the Wyrmway trials within Act Three.

1. Begin by traveling to Wyrm’s Rock Fortress.
2. Once inside Wyrm’s Rock Prison within the fortress, head towards the left side of the area.
3. Locate a corner adorned with two opposing torches.
4. Carefully turn off these torches.
5. Activate the torches using lightning-based abilities or effects, illuminating them.
6. The successful activation of the torches will unveil a hidden passage known as “The Wyrmway.”
7. Enter “The Wyrmway” and engage with its intricate puzzles to eventually access the Dragon’s Sanctum.
8. Within the sanctum, confront and defeat the formidable dragon Ansur.
9. After triumphing over Ansur, claim the coveted Balduran’s Giantslayer greatsword and the proficiency to perform “Topple the Big Folk.”
