Shadow Blades
Description
The 
Shadow Blades once belonged to unworthy warriors who, in life, wielded them with cruelty and enchanted them to continue spreading terror even after their deaths. I have mixed feelings, these weapons would rest in peace if they could, but at the same time, I want Aran to strike them down with his steel.
These enemies are specters from the past and are immune to attacks from the present. Aran must imbue his weapon with the Time Rune, only then will his steel be able to reach into the past and harm the Shadow Blades.
I get a good scare every time these specters appear. Come on, Adso, stay focused! They try to surround us and are just as dangerous up close as they are from a distance. We must remain alert at all times. Remember, they are specters and undead, so they never tire.

Hordes of Shadow Blades will spawn inside the Abbey here. Make sure you have a Time Rune on your weapon of choice before heading in.
212945. The Niveous Realm
A huge number of Shadow Blades spawn on the upper level of this tower. Make sure you have a weapon imbued with the Time Rune to tackle them.
212999. The Niveous Realm
Shadow Blades spawn in the banquet hall above the Throne Room anvil.
