Oceanic Brine Materials

Description

I don’t even know if I should bother telling you about the Oceanic Brine. You’re not going to believe me, so why should I? … Well, I’ve spent some time thinking about it, and I’ll go ahead and tell you anyway, even if you laugh at me for the rest of this… adventure… journey… endeavor.

It’s the fossilized remains preserved in sea salt of a very ancient creature, predating the Forgers Era, back when all this land we walk on was the bottom of a vast ocean.

Some authors call this creature Mehi-llohn, nowadays it’s known as Oceanic Brine, though I’m not quite sure why. The thing is, one day, at the home of the famed Blind Forger Nove Ohnná, the man went to fetch the cauldron where he was boiling the materials for his steels, but he made a mistake and grabbed the pot where he was cooking food - a hearty Mehi-llohn stew.

The steel that came from that dinner had exceptional defensive and durability properties. And Nove Ohnná went down in history, in my opinion, undeservedly.
